Clinical trials play an important role in discovering new medical treatments and learning more about what existing treatments work best for certain illnesses or groups of people. They open the door to valuable insight on how we can better improve patient care across all spheres of medicine for generations to come. 

Advancing patient care cannot just involve doctors and researchers. Moving medicine forward ultimately depends on volunteer participants.
